                                   BENEVOLENT FUND

In approximately 2008, MSgt (Ret) Frank Hotz, the MTIA's first Chaplain, made the recommendation that the MTIA create a fund that active and former MTIs would contribute to that could be used to assist other MTIs during times of need.  This motion was quickly seconded and was immediately passed.  Since that time the Fund has provided tens of thousands of dollars to MTIs going through a variety of hardships.  Whether it was former MTIs who had lost their jobs, to those needing assistance with medical bills, to those dealing with an  unexpected financial crisis, the Fund has been here to assist.  At the beginning of each Convention, the President of the MTIA challenges all MTIs to contribute $20.00 a year to this fund for the coming year.  Every penny of all donations goes to help MTIs in need.  Please consider donating to this worthy case.

For those in need of assistance, please contact the MTIA and let us know what your need is.  Please provide information so that we can verify that you were an MTI at some point in your career.  All requests for assistance are confidential.
